The most interesting engines of the World - EcoMotors OPOC internal combustion engine

2-stroke engine with turbocharger / OPOC (Opposed-Piston Opposed-Cílinder) configuration / 2- or 4-cilinder versions are available / the dual-OPOC engine can be partly shut off in case of light throttle situations / electric and/or exhaust-driven turbocharger (at low gas pressure the boost can be created by the electric motor, when being spun by the turbocharger, the electric motor acts as a generator and produces electricity) / runs on gasoline, diesel and ethanol as well / compact design, simple structure, lower exhaust emissions

Design: Prof. Peter Hofbauer, ex-VW head of powertrain development
